REUSE Analog TV Sets
Fortunately in this community, television sets are recycled through the hazardous waste facility.
But, interestingly enough, (still working) analog TV sets that people just want to get rid of because the world has gone digital should be going to nursing homes, schools, and apartment complexes that cater to low income residents.
If a building offers cable or satellite service as part of rent or usage, then analog TVs can be used without any converter box.
Even in the absence of cable or satellite service, analog TVs are basically 'monitors' for VCRs and DVD players: excellent for both entertainment and education.
