Economic Multipliers (120)

Do you know what these are?

They help CREATE wealth in systems.

Lists can be an economic multiplier if they inspire behavior that helps kids have good futures.

If I was worried that any child could be lured into trying recreational drugs, I’d want them to have this list of things that the ‘supplier’ wanted for them … To be:

  • poor

  • sick

  • ultimately homeless

  • friendless

  • less capable

  • less able to take advantage of innate intelligence

  • childless or have kids with physical, mental and/or emotional problems if they ever have any

  • incapable of functioning in society normally

  • in jail

  • jobless and

  • possibly even dead

President Obama was recently featured telling young people that if you live in a forgiving world, you can do drugs when you are young and still become president.

Media doesn’t always report on everything. If he also said these things, I missed them:

  • If you are lucky enough to NOT become addicted and/or end up in jail (AND are highly intelligent), you could possibly become president.

  • Recreational drugs are a crap shoot and even a forgiving world can't save a person from an overdose, tainted drugs or an addiction that a person might never overcome.

  • Every choice that every person makes in a nation has consequences for other people ... and we have a responsibility not only to ourselves but also to other people.

  • Anyone who wants to get a person involved in recreational drugs wants bad things for them.

If he said the rest of those things, I caught the wrong part of the clip.

Kids can get mixed messages.

The best message is: Want and choose good things for yourself and others.
